What exactly does Vintage Quest do?
We are a local business based in Lincolnshire, offering free, no-obligation valuations of your vintage gold, and silver. We hold regular Roadshow Events in Village Halls, where members of the public can bring items to be appraised. Should you decide to sell, we can offer immediate payment at a fair market price.
Do I need to make an appointment to attend?
No appointment is necessary. Simply pop in during the event – details are available on our website and are advertised locally. We see people in the order they arrive, so coming earlier in the day can help avoid any queues.
What sort of items do you look at?
We’re interested in all gold and silver jewellery. Bring it all in, we’d love to take a look! Examples of what we appraise include:

If you're not sure whether your item is of value, please bring it along — we’re always happy to have a look.
Is there a charge for the valuation?
Absolutely not. All our valuations are completely free of charge, and there is no obligation whatsoever to sell. You are most welcome to receive an expert opinion and take time to consider your options.
How do I get paid if I decide to sell something?
If you choose to accept our offer, you will be paid immediately, either in cash or by bank transfer, depending on your preference. You are under no pressure to accept an offer – the decision is entirely yours.
How do you appraise the items?
We use a combination of professional testing equipment and many years of experience to carefully examine and evaluate your items on the spot. All appraisals are carried out in a respectful and transparent manner, right in front of you.
Can I bring more than one item?
Certainly. Whether you have just a single piece or a whole collection, we are more than happy to take a look. Many people bring in old family pieces, inherited items, or things found during a house clear-out.

What if I can’t attend my local event?
If you're unable to attend one of our roadshows, there are still a couple of convenient options:
Request a Free Postage Pack:
We can send you a secure, insured postage envelope, so you can post your items to us for valuation from the comfort of your own home. There is no charge for this service, and if you decide not to sell, we will return your items promptly and safely.
Arrange a Private Visit:
For larger collections or if travel is difficult, we may be able to arrange a home visit at a time that suits you. Please contact us to discuss availability in your area.
